MTN Mobile Money: How To Set Up Your MM Account, On Your Phone.

You can comfortably set up your mobile money now on your phone.  below is what you should:

Upgrade your MTN SIM. To upgrade your SIM, you have to do a WELCOME PACK or SIM swap of your old MTN SIM. Walk into any MTN office nearby for this Or  dial *500#.  After dialing *500#, a message will be sent to you for you to fill all necessary personal information/biodata. 

Ensure you do not make mistake while filling in this information. After completion submit it and go to your MTN Services You will see “MM Dealer” icon under MTN services once your account is fully set up. You may call MobileMoney customer care on 118, if your account registration has been completed and “Mobile Money Dealer”  menu is not displayed on your SIM menu under MTN services.

How To Activate Your Mobile Money PIN

After you have  been registered on the MTN mobile system. , follow the steps below to complete your registration:

•  On your phone menu, go to MTN service,
•  Click on ‘’MM Dealer’’ èManage Account, Select Account PIN
•  Select the ID type you supplied during registration i.e Drivers license, International passport,
• National ID or other i.e your personal MTN registered phone number supplied during MobileMoney application.
• Enter the ID number you supplied during MobileMoney registration.
• Select a four digit PIN and repeat the PIN
• You will receive a message on your phone confirming your registration. That is all!
